    Starts: 12:00 am

    Ends: 12:00 am, January 17, 2015

Description: We’re approaching that exciting time of year again, scheduling for next school year, except this year you’ll find a new benefit for parents. On January 16th students will attend an information session by grade level where they will be given their 2015-2016 Course Request Forms and Scheduling Handbooks. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend the information session to hear all the details first hand. The times are listed by grade level below.

Here’s the new benefit: The information sessions are for the students and student questions, but now there is another system in place for a parent to ask questions privately and specifically about his or her child. After each session there will be members of our administrative, counselor, and mentor teacher teams set up in the Media Center to immediately meet 1:1 with parents. We hope many of you take advantage of this service and that we are better able to personally take care of your needs. Of course you can always call and set up an appointment for a different day with anyone on our student support team.

    2:20 - 3:15 p.m.: 6th Grade - Next year’s 7th Graders

Hard copies of the Scheduling Handbook and the official, color-coded Course Requests Forms will be distributed at each information session, however, these tools will also be emailed to everyone Friday, January 9th for you to preview and help your child prepare questions for the scheduling information sessions. All scheduling forms are due by Friday, January 23rd.

Your Horizon Honors Secondary student support team looks forward to assisting each of you through the registration process for the 2015–2016 school year!
