“….because Arizona CPS Takes Kids if Legal Guardians aren’t Correctly Designated.”

    Hey Parents and Guardians,

Did you know that almost 70% of parents have never named legal guardians for their children? Of the 30% that have, most have made 1 of 6 very common mistakes that leave their kids at risk of being taken by CPS if anything happened to their parents.

You might know my kids (who absolutely loooove Horizon Honors): Gabriel and Bella are in 3-4 Silver and Sophia is in 1-2 Black. I’m on a mission to make sure that every family in my community has planned for their kids properly, no matter what.

My name is Francisco P. Sirvent and I’m an estate planning attorney and the owner of Keystone Law Firm in Chandler.

I get it. You are busy. Pre-occupied with work, family and kids activities. You want to protect your kids and give your family a successful life, but life is crazy busy. You are putting fires out every day and it’s hard to find the time to plan anything ahead.

You want your children to have guardians who can love them and raise them in case you die. You don’t want a judge, CPS or the court system to be involved (heck, a judge might give your kids to “that” family member!). But if legal documents aren’t in place, CPS must get involved and your kids can end up in a stranger’s home or worse. This is probably something you’ve wanted to do since finding out you were first pregnant!

Problem Solved-----------> For Horizon Honors parents and the parents of my kids’ friends, we have put together a workshop to finally get this DONE! At the workshop you can name legal guardians ON THE SPOT!

Procrastinate no longer. Imagine how good it will feel to have this finally done; the peace of mind you will gain. It won’t be part of what you SHOULD do anymore. The right person will have legal authority to take care of your kids if both of you died. Gives you a sense of relief, doesn’t it? If the worst happens, your children will be raised by people who love them and will care for them, as you would have.

The workshop will be about 60-90 minutes long. We will start with some discussion about how all of this stuff works. Then, there will be time for you and your spouse to brainstorm potential guardians. We will guide you through an easy framework to help you both decide (and AGREE) on who should be on the list. Then you will fill out the forms right there, on the spot, and have witnesses make the documents final. While we process all the paperwork, we will show you some basic probate & estate planning strategies.

You will walk out with final, legal documents naming guardians for your kids.

Starting sharply at 6:30 p.m. on September 8, 2016, we will kick off the workshop in the Community Room. Block that day and time. No more worry that your children would go to the wrong people. No more nagging that “we should get this done”. It WILL be done that evening!

The cost? Only $35. This service is easily valued at over $200 when done in a private law firm setting. But, guess what? It gets better…

I have partnered with Horizon Honors to make this important information available. This means 100% of the proceeds are being donated to Horizon Honors. Awesome! Right? We get to help a bunch of parents check this off their to-do list. And a bunch of Horizon Honors parents get to name legal guardians for their children. Win-win-win, right? So bring friends!

The $35 covers one family unit. Bring your spouse. You each will complete forms to name guardians. Childcare will not be available. Parents only please; we will be discussing serious topics.

How do you sign up? We highly recommend signing up in advance.

Keystone Law Firm is handling the RSVPs. The fastest and easiest way is to go online to http://tinyurl.com/jk38mml make your payment via credit card, print your receipt, and bring it to the workshop.

If you prefer, you can call Sheryl at Keystone’s office at (480) 209-6942 and RSVP with her directly. She will take payment and email you a receipt. Print & bring it to the workshop.

Of course, space permitting, you can bring cash or check to the door the date of the workshop. But…

The entire elementary school is receiving this flyer and both schools will be invited by e-blast, so capacity will be an issue, even in the Community Room.

So, if this is something you want to get done, reserve your seat ASAP. And for the first 25 parents to RSVP online, we will instantly email you a FREE checklist of the 6 Most Common Mistakes Parents Make When Naming Guardians. For obvious reasons, only the parents who pre-pay will have their seats reserved.

    See you there!

    Francisco P. Sirvent
Attorney & Problem Solver at Law™

P.S. Remember, it is $35 to attend the workshop to name legal guardians for your children. Go here http://tinyurl.com/jk38mml to reserve your seats. When we hit capacity, depending on demand, we may start a wait list. 100% of the proceeds go to benefit Horizon Honors. Win-win-win!
