We are in the middle of an amazing fourth quarter. I look back on this year and realize that time is flying! I wanted to share some celebrations as we move closer to the end of the school year.
- Thank you to those parents and community members who supported our students in Adopt and Eagle. 175 Eagles were sold for a total of $9,895. These are items that are not in our school budget, but teachers and coaches requested to support the amazing instruction and programs they provide. Your children directly benefit from these purchases. Thank you for going above and beyond!
- We are closer to completing the technology upgrade for our school! This will provide students and staff with an updated network that will support the technology that your children need to prepare them for their future.
- HCLC received $327, 617 in AZ Tax Credit contributions in 2011! Thank you to everyone who re-directed their tax credits. The funds are to be used exclusively for extra-curricular activities like athletics, performing arts, school field trips, elective classes, and clubs.
- Our students continue to excel. From our Kindergartners showing their problem solving toolbox at last quarter’s Summative to our Seniors finding out what scholarships they have been offered to individual students being recognized beyond our school walls with awards, HCLC is proud of these accomplishments. This stems from a strong support at home and working closely with the school to be sure your children get what they deserve – a well-rounded, high quality education.
Thank you again to those that participated in our fundraising survey. We are currently reading through the results and comments as we plan for our future fundraising projects. I wanted to share some initial results with you:
