- Morning Pre-Kindergarten: 8 to 11 a.m.
- Afternoon Pre-Kindergarten: 12 to 3 p.m.
Pre-Kindergarten at HCLC Program
This unique program is designed for those students turning four by August 31, 2012 who are eager to learn and build confidence in their academic skills in an individualized, caring and developmentally sensitive class. Instructor Mr. Andrew Creighton Harank is an accomplished educator with more 30 years of teaching experience. Before moving his program to HCLC in 2001, Harank served as a kindergarten teacher for the Kyrene School District for 20 years. Mr. Harank has received such awards as the Distinguished Educator, Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers, The Silver Apple Award (a student nominated award), and a nomination for Disney’s American Teacher Award (also student nominated).Pre-Kindergarten is designed and taught to prepare the students to move on to Kindergarten the following year. The 2012-2013 program requires a fee of $4,000. Please note that students who attend Pre-Kindergarten at HCLC who wish to attend HCLC for Kindergarten must participate in the lottery.
