Enrollment Requirements:
- Horizon Honors schools are open to all K-12 students residing in Arizona.
- Enrollment is not limited based upon ethnicity, national origin, gender, income level, disabling condition, proficiency in the English language, or athletic ability.
- Enrollment is available to all students, including students with disabilities, and information about disabilities will not be requested until a student has been admitted and enrolled.
- Kindergarten students must turn 5 years old on or by August 31, 2022.
- 1st Grade students must turn 6 years old on or by August 31, 2022.
Siblings:
- Our schools expect a high level of parental involvement in the learning process. In recognition of this commitment, enrollment preference is given to siblings of students enrolled if an offer of enrollment is available.
Waitlists:
- After the lottery is completed on January 27, 2022, there may be waitlists at some grade levels.
- If an enrollment opportunity becomes available, the first student on the waitlist will be contacted. If that student declines the opportunity, the next student on the list will be contacted, etc.
- Students will remain on the waitlist for the entire 2022-2023 school year.
- After the lottery is closed students are placed on the waiting list on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Families who do not receive an offer of enrollment during the 2022-2023 school year must complete the enrollment process again for the 2023-2024 school year.
