Where can I find current volunteer opportunities?
Horizon Honors uses an online organizational tool called Sign Up that helps make
signing up to volunteer easy and efficient. Just click on a link below
and find out more about a specific volunteer opportunity.
In addition to the above activities, watch for opportunities via school e-blasts and K-6 Classroom Coordinator e-blasts.
COMMUNITY BUILDING COUNCIL (CBC)
The CBC is a parent-led group that works to bring our Horizon Honors community together and care for our Horizon Honors Staff!
2024-2025 Goals:
1. To Promote & Organize Parent/Teacher/Student Activities: Movie on The Field, Quarterly Restaurant Nights, Parent Night Out Activities, VIP & Me Dance, & the Silent Auction are examples of these types of activities.
2. To Raise Funds: All the Money Raised through the Quarterly Restaurant Nights Goes Directly Back into The School for ILP Snack Stations Each Quarter. The Snack Stations Provide Snacks & Drinks for the Over 150 Horizon Honors Staff Members During ILP Days 4 Times Throughout the Year. Funds Raised from the VIP & Me Dance Helps Support the Other CBC Events. One of the CBC goals is to provide discounted event tickets to HH Staff so they can attend as many school events as possible throughout the year. Revenue raised from the online auction is designated for Capital Improvement Projects.
